On 5 December 2025, Dr Nico Elema, Director of the Centre for Collaboration in Africa participated in the Science Forum South Africa in Pretoria, South Africa. As Programme Director of the AUDA-NEPAD Southern African Network of Water Centres of Excellence (and lead of the ACEWATER-III project), he provided insights on how they are able to mobilise large research networks accross Africa.
