The following activities will be implemented as part of the ACEWATER III project:
I. Research for Science, Technology and Innovation for improved Transboundary Water Resources Management and Decision-Making.
II. Human Capacity Development and to undertake at least 40 short courses and reach over 1200 participants
III. Short-term-mobility opportunities between partners and to create opportunities for 79 staff and 120 emerging scholars to undertake short-term research- and skills exchanges between member institutions of the AUDA-NEPAD Water CoEs.
IV. Performance Monitoring, Evaluation (M&E) and Joint Learning to further translate into real-life impact
V. Communication and engagement with Policy stakeholders and to provide 152 opportunities for staff and 48 opportunities for post-graduate students to attend regional conferences, and attend Continental Policy engagement and forums to engage with policy-makers and stakeholders.
The project will be implemented through Stellenbosch University along with 20 partner institutions in the AUDA-NEPAD Networks of Water Centres of Excellence and through the EU Delegation South Africa.
