The 2012 World Water Week kicks off in Stockholm, Sweden

The 2012 World Water Week, hosted by the Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI) kicked off in Stockholm on 26 August and will take place until Friday 31 August. The event has been taking place since 1991 with the current niche theme for 2009-2012 being “Responding to Global Changes”.

The event also make use of event broadcasting. In the following recording viewers can view a video stream from one of the venues on “Micro-irrigation for food security: the untold stories for forgotten stakeholders”.
