Nigeria: Kuje Chairmanship Aspirant Pledges to Tackle Water Scarcity

CHAIRMANSHIP aspirant of Kuje council under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Mr. Julius Gado Bezhe, has promised to tackle perennial water problems affecting some rural communities in the area if elected in the forthcoming council’s election.

Bezhe made the pledge yesterday during his adoption by the Progressive Peoples Group of Rubochi (PPGR) in Rubochi community of the council.

The aspirant also vowed to make electricity and education top priorities in his agenda as soon as he emerges as chairman of Kuje council.

“My intention is to contest for the chairman of Kuje area council in next year’s council election in order to consolidate on the gains of the present PDP led administration of Danladi Etsu Zhin, especially in the area of water,” he added.

Earlier, Secretary of the Progressive Peoples Groups of Rubochi, Dogara Dalayi, said the group executives took their time to assess and evaluate the contributions done by Julius Gado at Rubochi community and its environs.
