Eritrea: Livestock Farmers in Goluj Sub-Zone Express Satisfaction With Micro-Dams

Goluj — Livestock farmers in Goluj sub-zone voiced satisfaction with the water supply from the micro-dams in the locality.

Stating that all Administrative areas there have micro-dam facility, the farmers said that the fact that they are built within grazing areas has drawn advantage to the agricultural venture.

Among the farmers, Mr. Husein Abdalla Nasser and Mr. Kiflai Beyin called on livestock owners and herdsmen to practice judicious utilization of the micro-dams, and extend a helping hand towards doing away with contagious livestock diseases.

There exist 14 micro-dams in Goluj sub-zone, according to reports.
