Eritrea: Dud Inhabitants Express Satisfaction With Potable Water Supply

Assab — The inhabitants of Dud village voiced satisfaction with potable water supply.

Among the inhabitants, Ms. Laisanin Mohammed and Aisha Ahmed explained that they used to travel for 6 hours to fetch water, and that the availability of potable water supply in the heart of the locality has presently simplified their daily living. Mr. Mohammed Ali and Mr. Ali Musa on their part said that they would practice prudent utilization of the facility.

Meanwhile, reports indicated that a new school is due to open in the beginning of this academic year.

Dud, one of the villages in Central Denkalia sub-zone, is located 240 Km. north-west of the port city of Assab.
