The Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation succeeded to obtain a loan worth 300 million Saudi Riyals, as equal as LE 480 million from the Saudi Fund for Development to improve irrigation systems in many parts of Egypt.
Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Hesham Qandil said on Tuesday 17/7/2012 that the money from the loan will help in increasing the efficiency of irrigation systems to cultivate over 200,000 feddans.
