Angola: Water Supply to Luanda Affected By Power Shortage

Luanda — Some wards of Luanda city are facing water shortage, due to problems related to power distribution, a press communiqué delivered to Angop says.

The document adds that due to the current level of Kwanza river that has been affecting the power production from Capanda dam, the stations recorded a power shortage during some hours.

The document from Luanda water supply firm (Epal) also says that it affected the water distribution in some wards of Luanda city, but did not mention when the situation will be normalized.
