Angola: Valorization of Angolans Demands Better People Living Standards

Luanda — The Angolan Head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, on Wednesday said the efforts of valorisation of the Angolans also represents and fundamentally, the improvement of the people living standards, through the improvement of mechanisms and ways of access to health, basic sanitation, drinkable water and worthy housing.

The President of the Republic voiced so at his swearing in ceremony, following the August 31, 2012 general elections, adding that despite great investments held in this domain, there is a long way to go until that each citizen feels that he or she reached the adjusted level to live with dignity.

“We cannot discourage, we will see with optimism and hope the future, that depends fundamentally on our participation and attitude before the work. We will continue our walk towards the outlined goals. We will adapt a new national health plan, soon on the start of the mandate for the 2012-2025 period”, he said.

President José Eduardo dos Santos also announced that the programme of figt against hunger and poverty will not finish. It will be increased.
