Angola: Ndalatando to Gain 60 New Landfills This Year

Ndalatando — At least 60 new landfills will be created this year in Ndalatando, northern Kwanza-Norte province, following a partnership between the local administration and a private firm, Angop learnt.

This was announced by the co-ordinator of the mentioned project, Melissa da Mota, adding that the measure aims at dumping the wastes in appropriate places in order to avoid illnesses caused by the garbage.

He said that the landfills will be built in the same number of small areas considered as of risk and in 15 outskirts wards, where are being implemented sanitation projects.
