
This continental symposium was attended by more than 200 participants, mostly doctoral and post-doctoral students from Senegal, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cote d’Ivoire, Guinea Conakry, Cameroon, Togo, Mali, Tchad, Madagascar. The event delivered 74 oral presenations, 20 posters and four roundtable discussions. The latter covered themes on:
1.) Building Water Security by 2050. Senegal’s Vision and Strategy
2.) Water security and Climate Change. Results from EDEQUE
3.) What geopolitics of water in the Sahel in a context of growing water stress?
4.) Partnerships and collaborations towards water security
